Pultruded GRP Grating Panels have extra-strong characteristics for projects with demanding load bearing or wide span requirements. The design benefits from a 70% glass to 30% resin ratio. This enhances the overall stiffness to provide excellent load bearing strength capabilities.

They are available with "I" and "T" shaped cross sectional profiles. They feature 55% or 60% openings which offers excellent ventilation and drainage capabilities. This makes them ideal for catch-pit covers, trench covers or drainage channel walkway applications.

Pultruded Grating is available in 25mm and 38mm thicknesses. We offer standard panel sizes of 3660mm x 1220mm. We can source alternative panel sizes with an extended lead time on request, up to 6 metres in length.

Non Slip Shop offer an in-house fabrication facility to supply to your exact size and shape requirements. We can also provide a range of structural GRP Pultruded Profiles and suitable fixings.

Product Overview

Pultruded GRP (Glass-Reinforced-Plastic) Grating is a high strength alternative to traditional molded grp grating panels. They offer impressive load bearing and span capabilities. They are advantageous to cater for high strength loads or regular impact.

"I" or "T" shaped bearing bar cross sectional profiles enhance the load bearing strength capabilities of the material.

The system features 60% or 55% openings which offers excellent ventilation and drainage capabilities. They are ideal for catch-pit covers, trench covers or drainage channel walkway applications.

GRP (glass-reinforced-plastic) materials are highly durable, robust and suitable for use in the harshest environments. GRP materials benefit from fire retardant characteristics with strong wear-resistance, UV, chemical resistant and excellent corrosion resistance properties.

They feature our enhanced non-slip surface finish to prevent slips, trips, and falls. They are virtually maintenance free and easy to clean.

Non Slip Shop offer an in-house fabrication facility to supply to your exact size and shape requirements. We can also provide fixings including stainless steel or galvanised bolts to suit.

Product Options

We offer two types of pultruded grating, either "I" or "T" Beam profiles - with 60% or 55% openings.

We offer standard panel sizes of 3660mm x 1220mm in 25mm and 38mm thicknesses. Non Slip Shop can source alternative panel sizes with an extended lead time on request, up to 6 metres in length.

Various colour choices are available including Light Grey (RAL 7047), Dark Grey (RAL 7043), and Yellow (RAL 1003).

Panel Weights

Compared to traditional steel, aluminium and timber alternatives, GRP products offer a lightweight solution. The typical panel weights per kg / m2 are:

3660mm x 1220mm x 25mm - 12.9 KG / m2 (60% Open) / 14.25 KG / m2 (55% Open)
3660mm x 1220mm x 38mm - 15.3 KG / m2 (60% Open) / 16.9 KG /m2 (55% Open)
